Job Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n The Junior Quantity Surveyor will support the commercial and project teams in cost estimation, measurement, and financial management of construction projects. This role is suitable for a graduate or entry-level Quantity Surveyor seeking practical experience in project costing and contract administration.<\/p>\n Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n – Assist in preparing cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQs), and tender documents.<\/p>\n – Take site measurements and prepare quantity take-offs.<\/p>\n – Support cost control, budgeting, and expenditure tracking for projects.<\/p>\n – Assist in preparing valuations, progress reports, and final accounts.<\/p>\n – Help monitor variations and claims under the supervision of a senior QS.<\/p>\n – Liaise with site teams, contractors, and suppliers as required.<\/p>\n – Maintain proper documentation and records of project costs.<\/p>\n Qualifications & Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n – Bachelor\u2019s degree or HND in Quantity Surveying or a related field.<\/p>\n – Graduate Quantity Surveyor (NYSC pending or completed).<\/p>\n – Basic knowledge of construction costing and contract administration.<\/p>\n – Familiarity with QS software and Microsoft Excel is an advantage.<\/p>\n – Willingness to learn and ability to work in a team environment.<\/p>\n – Good communication and numerical skills.<\/p>\n Key Skills & Competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n – Attention to detail<\/p>\n – Basic analytical and numerical skills<\/p>\n – Time management and organization<\/p>\n – Teamwork and adaptability<\/p>\n – Problem-solving skills<\/p>\n
