Job Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n The Head of Procurement is responsible for overseeing and managing the organization\u2019s procurement strategy, processes, and activities to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality acquisition of goods and services. The role ensures compliance with company policies, supports operational efficiency, and drives value through strategic sourcing and vendor management.<\/p>\n Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n – Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.<\/p>\n – Oversee sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing of goods, materials, and services.<\/p>\n – Manage supplier relationships, including evaluation, selection, and performance monitoring.<\/p>\n – Ensure cost optimization while maintaining quality and delivery standards.<\/p>\n – Review and approve purchase requests, purchase orders, and contracts.<\/p>\n – Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.<\/p>\n – Collaborate with finance, operations, and project teams to support business needs.<\/p>\n – Manage procurement budgets and monitor expenditure.<\/p>\n – Identify risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.<\/p>\n – Lead, train, and supervise procurement team members.<\/p>\n – Prepare and present procurement reports to management.<\/p>\n Qualifications & Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n – Bachelor\u2019s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.<\/p>\n – Professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CIPSMN) is an added advantage.<\/p>\n – Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, with leadership responsibility.<\/p>\n – Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.<\/p>\n – Good understanding of contract management and sourcing best practices.<\/p>\n – Proficiency in procurement systems and Microsoft Office tools.<\/p>\n – Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.<\/p>\n Key Competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n – Strategic thinking<\/p>\n – Leadership and team management<\/p>\n – Integrity and accountability<\/p>\n – Attention to detail<\/p>\n – Cost and risk management<\/p>\n
